Австралия: Большая Океанская Дорога, Виктория - Great Ocean Road (113 photos)

The Great Ocean Road officially starts at Torquay. As from Torquay the shoreline is picturesque, there are many beaches between Torquay and Anglesea and it's a paradise for surfers especially the famous Bells Beach. The treks for bikes and hikers are all along the shore. You can sunbathe naked. But only on nudist beaches. Equip yourselves with maps and find information before you set off on a journey. Take special care of your nightspot. And remember mounting a camel is free, dismounting will cost you 30 bucks! Don't try to save much on your pleasures.

Официально Большая Океанская Дорога начинается в Торки. Уже в Торки линия берега красива, между Торки и Энглси много пляжей и рай для серфингистов, особенно известный Беллс Бич. Вдоль берега есть треки для велосипедистов и хайкеров. Можно отдыхать на пляже голым. Надо только знать "клубничные" места. Вооружитесь картами и информацией до поездки. И особенно позаботесь о ночлеге. И помните наболевшее египетское: залезть на верблюда можно бесплатно, а слезть - за 30 долларов! Желание очень сэкономить выйдет боком.

the Grampians. Day 1 (30 photos)

Three days, two nights, three hours drive to the Grampians and two and half hours drive back to Melbourne. One long climbing up the Pinnacle and three lookouts the Boroka, the Reed and the Balconies. One river, one lake and two and a half waterfalls - MkKenzie, Broken and Silverband. And of course, a serpintine road, which I definitely adore (. The Grampians in a few words and many photos.

Три дня, две ночи, три часа езды туда и два с половиной часа обратно. Одно длинное восхождение на вершину Пиннэкл и три обзорных точки рядом с парковкой - Борока, Рид и Балконы. Одна речушка, одно озеро и два с половиной водопада - Маккензи, Броукн и Силвербэнд. Еще горный серпантин, эх, обожаю я горный серпантин. ) Много фото, мало слов. Это Грампиенс. Небольшой рассказ о поездке к фото все же прилагается.

We spent this day by climbing the Pinnacle via the Grand Canyon and the Venus Baths. According to the metallic plate notice the latter is the most visited place in the Grampians.

Этот день мы провели на ногах в пешем походе на Пиннакл, спускались через Большой Каньон и Ванны Венеры. Согласно металлической надписи именно последнее место посетило самое большое количество людей, побываших в Грампиенс.

The third day was full of impressions. Spectacular views from the Boroka Lookout were followed by the waterfalls MakKenzie and Broken, then we hiked along the MakKenzie river trek and last the Balconies again. So amazing!

Третий день был самый насыщенный впечатлениями. Невероятные виды с Борока площадки, потом два чудесных водопада Маккензи и Броукн, расположенные рядом, трек вдоль реки Маккензи и снова виды с Балконов. Супер!

Anzac day P2
Anzac Day, 25 April 2015. Red poppies symbolize blood of soldiers who sacrificed their health and life . Two Australian artists Lynn Berry and Margaret Knight with the help of many volunteers created 250 000 red crochet poppies to commemorate 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli landing (Anzac). The target 5000 poppies was surpassed. The carpets covered the Fed Square and look spectacular.
Anzac Day P1
First, we went to NGV. I planned to check Red Emperor exhibition but we went upstairs and checked Ancient Eastern art exhibitions. Hereunder I placed some pics from thess exhibition halls. Then we went to see Pre-Rafaelists paintings. As we looked quickly through the paintings I will have to come back again to enjoy them more carefully.

Dandenong Ranges National Park - Olinda 2

If your point of departure is Caulfield, then think of it as a promenade to the mountains rather than a trip. Because it's close. The mountains are about 600 meters above the sea level which is ok but still I had a headache. First we went to the Rhododendron Gardens, then to Olinda falls and finished by enjoying amazing panorama of the night Melbourne from the Sky High lookout.

Если ехать из Кофилд, то это и не поездка вовсе, а так променад в горы. Близко. Высота чуть больше 600 метров и терпимо, хотя голова у меня болела. Итак, посетили Сады Рододендронов в первую очередь, затем съездили к Родникам Олинды и завершили невероятными видами ночного Мельбурна с площадки Скай Хай.
